This day is going to be an annual event but this first year is extra special as its AFC Henley's 50th anniversary. Founded in 1974 AFC Henley has been the centre of youth football for he community and we are immensely proud be hosting this event to celebrate.

Saturday 11th May 2024

We will be hosting our inaugural family funday. Doors open from 9:30, the internal football tournament will kick off at 10:00 and the trophy presentation will be at roughly 16:00.
£5 entry fee for the players in the tournament but family can come in for free!

Our full day event is a great way to spend time with your whole family, watching small sided football matches, supporting friends and team mates, playing fun challenges, face painting, bouncy castle and raising money for AFC Henley to help fund our future projects.

Along with the football tournament there will be food stands including a burger van, pizza stand, ice cream van, bake sale, tea coffee soft drinks and confectionary that will be perfect for the lunch break in the middle of the tournament.

There will be loads of prizes to be won at our games centre that will have Crossbar Challenge, TopBins Challenge, Football Darts, Penalty Shootout and more! These games will cost per go and there will be different prize winners in each challenge for different age groups.

The tournament format will be small sided games of 7v7 with the players in mixed teams, girls and boys across two age groups. Under9 + Under10, U11+U12, U13+U14 will all compete in round robin format under the name of an international team. The points add up across all 3 age group round robins to come up with a grand winner of the AFC Henley Family Funday 2024.
Sunday 12th May we are hosting the internal tournament for U15-U17 which also has to be booked on through the website here.
