AFC Henley in the Community

The AFC Henley Football in the Community project was launched in 2012. It was born out of the success of our Saturday morning Mini-Soccer Centre, which provides coaching for children aged 4 to 8 years. The MSC has grown at a steady pace since it began in 2002. We now have up to 150 children registered and attendances range from 50 - 80 every Saturday morning.

What we provide
We have a wide variety of extra-mural activities and we are continuing to develop more. We currently deliver:

  • Holiday camps
  • Football parties
  • Player Development Centres
  • Midweek Mini-Soccer
  • 'Girls Only' Sessions for U4-U16
  • Disability football for U5-U11
  • 1-2-1 sessions

Holiday Camps
We run holiday camps in every half term and holiday break. These can be attended by all children from Reception to U14 with the group split up into age groups. We have seen numbers grow every term with over 60 children attending our camps on peak days and we have plenty of coaches to allow more players! They are delivered on the Jubilee Park Astroturf next to Tesco or on the grass pitches adjacent. Prices are extremely competitive. For bookings and more information please contact jack.woodley@afchenley.com.

Football Parties
There are a couple of ways we can run a birthday party for you:
1 - You are more than welcome to use our facilities at Jubilee Park. We have everything you will need for a fun football party. Our coaches have all the kit they need to run a fun-filled birthday party for your children. We also have a clubhouse next to Tesco which can be used as a mess-room for all party-goers to enjoy a meal and maybe some birthday cake in.
2- If you would prefer to find your own venue for the party, our coaches are more than happy to drive a reasonable distance with our football kit to wherever you choose. Please contact us with a date in mind and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please contact either jack.woodley@afchenley.com.
