Safeguarding is the responsibility of our entire community and is at the heart of all we do at AFC Henley

Safeguarding is the responsibility of our entire community and is at the heart of all we do at AFC Henley.

We encourage all our parents and carers to watch this great short video from the FA. 'Let's talk about keeping children safe in football', it's designed specifically for parents and carers and covers:
*understanding parent / carer responsibilities
*awareness of safeguards clubs have in place
*collective responsibility - we're all in it together!
There's lots of other interesting and helpful content on the FA website too.

Our coaches and volunteers have DBS checks, safeguarding training and are here to help and support your mini Lucy Bronze or Bukayo Saka. If you have any safeguarding questions, concerns or feedback, please do contact our Club Welfare Officer, Daniel Sadler, at one of the following:
E: welfare@afchenley.com
T: 07776 303858

AFC Henley's Safeguarding - and other Welfare policies - can be found here.

The FA's codes of respect are attached below. Please take time to read these and go through the player one with your children.

We understand that, though there is massive excitement about football, there can also be nerves and trepidation. We encourage you to discuss (in complete confidence) any worries that your children may be facing with their coaches or Daniel so they can help support them.
